The annual town election in Dartmouth will take place on April 5. This year, the ballot will see four contested races, including the Board of Library Trustees.
The six-member board is responsible for determining the mission of the library, setting the policy that governs the library, hiring and evaluating a library director, and overseeing the general management of the library.
The winner of this contested race will fill in the remaining year of the late Suzanne McDonald’s term. A full term on the board is three years.
Dartmouth Week Reporter Morgan Beard recently spoke with both candidates. Here’s what he learned.
